Hydra with AI director frustration question

Just recently purchased the AI hydra and the director and am having some frustrations. Need help.

I will setup the %s And times for all the colors and then on random occasions the light will de-sync from the director, causing the light to stay on or off depending on the time it de-synced.

Also once this happens it deletes all my setting within the director app

Very frustrating.


Why does it do this happen and or can I prevent this from happening.

Have you updated to latest firmware. My friend had issues on his director till he updated

Firmware updates need to be manually accepted so log in to MyAI and check to see what firmware version you are running. It is possible the firmware is corrupted if something happened during the update process if you lose internet connectivity. If you e-mail the support folks at AI they can pull-up your Director, check for corruption, and reset if needed.

The first couple of updates are manual and will prompt at the top of every hour. Once you hit a certain version they no longer become manual. That is what we were told in talks of setting up ours with AI representatives. We've not had any issues like this with our in store director though so I can't assist you in the disconnects.
