I was shocked last night (almost literally) when I opened my cabinet doors to my sump...the whole inside of the cabinet was damp. I had a cheapo power bar in there and one of the sockets had deformed...I quickly unplugged that for the night.
Today I bought a high quality power bar. I noticed while moving plugs how wet all of the cords were. Any suggestions for reducing humidity? The tank is in an open living area so a humidifier is not really an option. Would a fan under there help? I'm going to make a point of wiping down everything daily to prevent problems but I was wondering what else I could do?
Temperature is also a bit of an issue too...
