Donzi treated the 55 with Flatworm Exit a month ago, and when I got home from work the tank was milky white. He was panicked because I'd said NOT to dose the tank. All it was was the brittle stars spawning since they thought they were gonna die after the treatment. These pics were taken after the 2nd treatment. Every available surface had starfish/starfish arms EVERYWHERE!

When this was going on, I thought it'd be a prime opportunity to grab a bunch to give out, however they had other ideas...it may LOOK like it's easy to just grab them, but they sure were not easy to catch! Soon as I got anywhere near, they'd slither back into the nearest hole.

That's it. You've posted too many unbelievable pics, and now you're gonna have to do a photo presentation for the club. ;)

I think SG and Pete should each do a 1/2 hour preso at the next meeting. I will be there. [smilie=lol.gif] [smilie=lol.gif] [smilie=lol.gif]

+1 and the club should raffle a macro lens!

I would think that a portal would be pretty popular. Not tooooo expensive unlike some of the macro lenses out there. :)

If you did want to catch them try and stick a filter pad on the rocks slightly pull it apart to allow them to make home in there. You will have 100s in there after one night. I find them trapped in my filter pads all the time.
