How to quiet a loud external pump?

I have a Little Giant 4-mdqx-sc external pump on my new setup. The noise from the pump is driving me crazy. When I think reef tanks i dont want to hear a noisy pump.

How can i get this pump to not be heard throuh the stand. Rite now you can hear it from across the house.

1 recomendation to help with the vibration was mouse pads under the pump. That helped with the vibration but not with the sound. I have thought of building a box around it and soundproofing it but i dont want heat to be a problem. I have also though of soundproofing the stand but that seems to be costly.

Any recomendation is welcome.

Might have to look into it. I am getting my doors on today and have some sound proofing to do.

The pump shouldn't be that loud. If it was purchased used I'd look at replacing the bearings. If it was new I'd contact the manufacturer.

It is brand new.

Bimmerzs, reeflo has 2 modles the dart hybrid and dart. Does it matter.

nope, reeflo pumps are the way to go...only better pumps are huge money. I have 2 on my system and they run silent.
