how to protect new floors

I hope this is the best place to put this question.

I am getting new flooring throughout the house. It will be a waterproof wood laminate. (basically a laminate with PVC backing). I'm looking to setup anywhere from a 75-125 gallon tank. What's the best way of protecting the new floors? I'm mostly concerned about leaving an imprint of the tank. I know some of you have simply not installed the floor where the tank will be, but that's not an option for me.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't recommend putting anything beneath the tank so I guess your best option is to get enough extra to patch the area beneath the tank if it doesn't spring back after a few days if you remove the tank.

I bought a rubber workout mat used for treadmills and such to put under my tank. I have no idea if it was a good idea or not since I haven't moved my tank yet. If my wife ever gives me the go ahead for a 300, I guess I will find out then. :)
