there are more ways to attach photos, but I'm partial to the button when attaching multiple photos to my replies or new thread posts:

Three more tips:

• 'drag and drop' is a nice feature but there is no icon for 'drag and drop'
  • just drag and drop
• Mac users, if your photos are .heic instead of .jpg, there is a way to convert heic to jpg on the Mac (in Finder) before uploading
• Photos should be less than 5MB size as max file size is 5MB
