How much water movement do you have?

Well now you can find out! Interesting read in advanced aquarist online shows how to make some dissolving blocks to estimate water movement. Now if only someone could relate this directly to GPH like we use it would be awesome! Seems interesting none-the-less, would definitely be fun to try.

Interesting and keep in mind that as corals grow the water flow in the tank is always changing.

Isn't there an instrument that calculates water velocity as well (linear velocity)? Albeit more expensive but jw

And while on the subject of water speed... Does anyone here have a gyre tank? Or gyre flow? (aka the new "LEDs" in the flow world)
