How much salt for 5 gallons - Elementary question - i apologize

[okay, basic question here - if i am wanting to produce a new batch of water with a salinity of 1.025, how much salt (instant ocean) should i use for 5 gallons?? thnx - my bucket does not specify.]

i used 2 1/2 and it came out to be around 1.020 - i guess i should try closer to 3??

[I always slightly overfill a 1/2 cup scoop every time I measure salt when mixing for the tank. That usually gets me almost dead on accurate to 1.025 when I measure with a refractometer.]
