How much flow do you have? (75-125G tank owners only!)

IF you have a 75-125g, how much flow do you have?

As many of you remember, I have a gyre flow going in my tank, and I am only using 1400gph and its perfectly enough (I have 70% SPS). I have a 100g. I am currently building my new tank, a 40g breeder, and will be doing a gyre in it as well (horizontal this time- i.e. top to bottom) and I am figuring out how much flow I need to get a good gyre going...

Most people use an mp10 in a 40g breeder, or 1500gph... but that is way more than what I am using now for a tank half the size of mine (yes, gyres are VERY efficient). So I just wanted to get an idea of how much more GPH everyone is using in their "regular flow" tanks compared to me...

??

I've got a standard 90 gal with 2 Koralia 4's (1200 gph each) and my return is a Mag 9.5. A bit overkill, I know. I'm considering moving back down to K3's.

My 120 has 2 Korallia Evo 3s on the rear left side, just under the water line and 1 korallia 3 on the bottom. I then did the same thing, but on the opposite front side. So, two strong gyres going. Also have the flow from the Mag 18, which is probably 800-1000 gph. Top 4 Korallias on timmers . Bottom 2 running constantly. Crazy flow!! I don't think I have any dead spot in there now. I am running 4 Tunze 6105's( in pairs set at diagonals in the tank) to create gyre flow of 7000 gph in a 300G. All sps and lps. It took about a month to position them so I did not have a sand storm. [smilie=lol.gif]

Am I reading this right? 9 k3's in the tank?

I am running 2 evo1400's and a 1262 return pump on my 90g.

2evo 1400's, 2 voyagers (had leftovers, 800ish gpg if i recall), and oceanrunner 2500 return pump in my 120.

Thinking about getting an mp10 or maybe even an mp40 and keeping 1 or 2 evo's with it.

I am running 2 koralia eveloution 1400's in my 120. I just got these. I was running one Koralia 4 and it was not enough flow. So glad I upgraded!!

I have and mp40 with two koralias at the moment along with the return which is a mag 7. I will get another mp40 as soon as i can afford it and get rid of the koralias all together.

I have two MP40s on opposing ends of my 115. They are offset as well so when one is on (anti-sync mode) the other isn't blowing against it. They are on full power and on Reef-Crest mode.

Oops, not sure how I did that. One K 3 not 9. Lol

I was picturing a wall of them blowing one way on a wave maker [smilie=lol.gif]

I have a k3 and a 1050evo with a quietone4000 return pushing about 800gph. Prolly overkill in a 75g but everything seems happy. [smilie=clapping.gif]

On my 90 I have a K3 and K4 with a mag 9.5 return. 85% SPS, maybe more. Everything is happy, but I'm thinking of dropping another K2 or 3 lower down in the tank jus cuz.

It seems many of us have very similar setups flow-wise!
