How many Teacher on here has reef tanks at school?

I was wondering how many teacher on here has reef tanks at thier school that they tend to? In Austin, we don't have anyone that has a full established reef in the class rooms. Since this club is 20 time larger than my Austin club , ya probaly have alot of class room reef tanks right?

My wife has a 28-gallon bowfront with zoos and other softies in her Kindergarten class. I bring it home every summer and take it back to school each Fall. Not the best thing in the world for stability but it does run year round.

In the library at my middle school there is a 250 gallon tank with tons of softies zoanthids and 3 anemones. I usually do routine matinence on it in the morning during animal care-takers.

I have a 10g with zoas, clove polyps, mushrooms and green star polyps I set up this year. I was surprised at how well they are doing with a fluorescent bulb. I'll add a small fish soon. My 4th graders love earning some free choice time to look at the tank. I'll do the same as Lee and bring it home for the summer.

Your school districts must be more forgiving than my wifes. She had to get rid of her dorm room refridgerator and microwave because they were fire hazards. Same where I work. I had a buddy that had a small 1gal tank with a couple of freshwater fish in it. When security saw it they made him take it down because they said the light was a fire hazard. It is probably best my wife doesn't set one up. She killed 2 bettas in the span of 3 days earlier this year.

The reason I was asking is that I have a couple of good size kenya tree frags and green button polyps, lime green button polys and some other palys that I would like to donate to some schools to help out. They are nothing fancy but gives kids something to see different and alive for more diversity in a tank at school. Just pm me on details.
