How long will LR stay alive like this?

I bought prob about 140lbs or so a while back and couldn't get it all in my tank so it has been in a brute trashcan indoors with a rio 1400 to circulate 24/7 for about two months now.....didn't set the new tank up as quick as I thought.

Do you think it is still "Live Rock" how can you really tell?

I have had some LR sitting in a 5 gallon bucket for about 5 months with a pump and small heater and a light ove rit and the Zoa's and Pulsing Xenia area still growing in there so I guess it will stay live as long as it is in water that is moving.
 
Keep the temperature stable and top off for evaporation, and it should be fine.
 
No, but lighting helps coralline grow. Lack of light helps avoid nuisance algae though.
