How long does it take to cure Rock?

I am wondering how long it would take to cure about 60-70 lbs of live rock? What would I need to do exactly? What would be the fastest way to cure it? Actual live rock or buy some sort of seeder? Can anyone help?
 
Are you talking about buying uncured liverock from the ocean? Are you starting a new tank with it or adding it to another existing tank?
 
A friend of mine is needing some rock for his new tank. Right now it is empty. I found a person with two 5g buckets full of rock. The rock is dry at the moment.
 
Dry rock isn't "live". You can use it, but you will need to add live rock / live sand and wait a long time before the dry rock will have the desirable live organisms.

I know it takes awhile for the Dead Rock to become Live but I am curious on when the DIEOFF from the dead rock will stop as I just put all of the ~40lbs into my 30gallon tank(empty) to cure it. I am running a filter, heater and PH to blow the dead stuff off the rock. So how long before I can add acutal Fish to the tank?
