How long do your RO filters last? In Plano?

I'm curious about this, but mine recently don't seem to be lasting very long. The filters change color in a manner of only a few months. I wonder if our water source is at all dirtier than normal?

I live in West Plano.
 
More than likely yes. Lake Lavon is so low you are getting dirtier water from there. I've noticed in the past that the water is dirtier when the lake is down.
