Hopefully your peppermint shrimp have taken care of the aptasia by now. The above mention aphasia-x works fairly well. There are other similar products available...joe's juice comes to mind. Some folks use the smother method, that is covering them with an epoxy and either leaving it in place or removing it few days later. I have tried all of these methods and they all work to a degree. The shrimp worked the best for me. Unfortunately, my large A. percula decided the shrimp were put in the tank as food and took great delight in devouring the shrimp. Eventually, the aptasia returned and I purchased a copper band butterfly. No more aptasia, but I do watch the butterfly to make sure it hasn't decided that some of the corals look good enough to eat. So, decide which method you want to use and hang in there.

Only indo pacific peppermint shrimp will eat it. Go to the true percula in arlington. Their peppermint shrimp LOVE aptasia.

Spot treat with white vinegar. In my books works better then apt-x. Don't kill to many in one water change period.

You need a small spouted syringe or spot feeder. You kill your pumps and flow. Spray about 1-2 ml on each one. You will see them close and melt off. You might need to spray twice on some. I use to use 2 syringes, one to spray and one to suck up there dead bodies afterwards.

Also I had one in the middle of a zoo colony that I killed this way. The zoos that got a bit of the vinager closed up for 2 weeks and came back smaller. If you can find a syringe with a needle you would be better off stabbing and injecting.
