Hospital tank

I need some advice. I'm transferring a small leopard wrasse from my DT into a hospital tank and will treat with copper. Should I put a bowl with sand from my DT in there or will that absorb the copper. I have some PVC pipes in there already. I'm treating for velvet BTW.thanks

The sand will absorb the copper but not enough that it should affect the treatment process. You just won't want to put that sand back in your main tank again. [smilie=smile.gif]
