Holy Crap LED

I modified my 24G JBJ cube with 24x3w CREE's a while ago and just now decided to get into SPS. I got two very nice colonies and one of them is generating a ton of white tips. I am assuming this is new growth. I have only had the SPS in my tank for 2.5 weeks now.

Just posting to see if this is definitely new growth. 2nd pic is from day I got it and 1st pic is recent.

Oh I'm ready to take the LED plunge and about to get enough for a strip.

Great growth on that birds nest by the way!

I would love to make the jump but my tank is 31" deep...and yes I think it is new growth to answer your question.

yeah I found out the hard way that Birdsnests will grow fast like that if they are happy. Congrats.
