Alright,
so after 6 weeks and only 1 water change my water parameters are stable still, temp is a little varied but not too bad, and no major signs of nuisance algae, or critters.
So as I embark on drilling to replace the hang on overflow, and consider my first significant livestock purchase, I thought I'd reflect on what i have been able to keep helathy and happy these last 2 months (almost.)
Condi anemone
2 x 2" Yellow Tailed Damn-sel's
multiple red and blue legged hermits
multiple black turbo's
3 x giant turbo's
2 x 6-7" serpent starfish
1-1/2" Sally Lightfoot Crab
medium-large feather duster
small colony of green star polyps. (Thanks Bill)
small colony of green Zoa's
Everything running under 4 x 110W URI VHOs on a ARO Electronic Ballast.
In the next couple weeks, drilling to replace hang on o-flow, completing custom light canopy, and building new 20 long sump.
Wish me luck and thanks to all who have contributed to my early success.
Patience is a true virtue. Only bad things happen fast.
