i have a metal halides, i've been using for a year now...but suddenly, my metal ballast isnt working...does anyone know how to fix it? If water got into it, can you just dry it up and use it?
if its a magnetic ballast then parts are easily replaceable and pretty easy to find also. It all depends on how wet it got. if you dropped the whole ballast in water or left it in a rainstorm , i would call it dead and not risk the potential fire if you get corrosion and bridging of the internal components. You could replace all the internals and replace the wiring if water damage is that extensive.
i will post some pictures...if you can telll me what wrong with it and if it can be fix? i was trying to buy new components or a new set...but i dont know how to put it all in...
