Here are a few questions...

Hey guys. I just have a couple of questions for all of you experience reefkeepers.

First, I would like to know what pK is and why/how it affects alkalinity and pH.

Second of all, from what I read since I became a member of this awesome forum, is that you guys write that in order to maintain pH "you" must fix the underlying causes that makes the pH decline. What would these causes be?

I would appreciate any responses with helpful linformation.

Thanks guys.

If that doesn't fry your brain like it does many of us, these others are more specific on the relationships and paritculars of calcium, magnesium, alkalinity. Those are the considered the golden trio for reef tanks and understanding how they work together and their importance is critical in long term success.
