HELP!!!

one of my favorite corals, my red monti cap from ron(rongleaves), has these white spots on it, is it that RTN stuff or what, never had this problem, I definentally don't want it to die. HELP ME!please

What Heli said. Keep a close eye on it and see if it starts growing. If it does, you will need to cut out the areas that have the RTN asap!
 
agree if it grows frag it...if not the coral will over grow the dead spot within a couple weeks
 
Madison, I suspect Matt may have called it right with some debris causing the spot. I have a large orange monti that has a similar spot, and I'm 99% sure it was due to debris. It has been there for a few weeks with no adverse affect on the coral. As others have suggested, watch for any extension of the spot, but I think you're alright if it is indeed from debris.
 
I think it should be ok, the spots didn't get bigger, and I jetted some water on it and there was some debris on it, thanks for the help.
 
Ours started to turn white from the bottom, but we just left it alone. It has since made a full recovery and started growing rapidly.
