Help with swollen and retracted Elegance Coral

I've had this beautiful Aussie Elegance I purchased from DNA for about 2 months now. It acclimated quick and felt right at home, opening up getting HUGE! Last week the right head (there are 2) started to swell up and contract and not extend (videos of before issues and current state attached). It has been the same ever since. I have Red Sea Reefer 250 doing 10% water changes per week. I have amazing polyp extension and growth from my SPS and other LPS but I'm worried about the Elegance. Searching online others have had the same issues with no real outcome stated or reason why this can happen. Just wondering if anyone else here has had the same experience. Is it dying? Is it hurt? Can it recover? What should I do?Thanks!  View attachment 2310

Do you dose iodine? You might try to add some just in case it was injured/attacked/ stung/ bitten.

Thanks! I haven't tried using iodine yet. If it was injured or stung, after about a week of being in this state and not looking worse is it safe to say it may recover? Would be a shame, this coral is beautiful.

I don't see any loss of flesh, so that is a good sign. But you don't know what is going on in the inside, any change of food?

I tried moving it away from the rock a bit. When it was fully extended it was brushing against the rock. Possibly it got scraped a bit and didn't like it? Still the same today, not opened but not getting any worse. Scratching my head on this one.

So I think I know whats going on with the Elegance. It hasn't died thankfully but is still in the same retracted swollen condition. I did ramp up my temperature slowly from 78 to 81 over the last 3 weeks. Looking at my Apex chart its around the time the elegance started showing those signs. I'm starting to ramp down back to 78 over the next 2 weeks to see if it opens back up. Otherwise, I have no idea what could be up with this poor guy.

Its still in the same state, semi retracted but no die off. I don't get it. I moved it to the back of the tank with little to no flow also.

What is the temp now? At MACNA we seen a video of the Great Barrier Reef where 29% died off due to 1.5 degrees in temp change. Global warming
