help with skimmer

hi ya got the ckimmerup and running but were the bubbles come up at how low should thay be to let it foam up got it setting about a inch below the lip of the vorteks thing to high or to low or have it setting right at the lip of the over flow ?

Do you have a pic, what type of skimmer is this? Is it at the recommended water depth? HOB or in sump model?

ok thanks cant use a sump tanks setting on a table and my boy will put ever thing he can in it if he cant get at it
