Help with Mp40wes

Bought a mp40wes from a member, was running great on his tank. I took six weeks to put it on my new tank now having issues, looking for help. When powered up turns on and runs great for a minute / minute and a half then just powers off. No warning lights or anything just turns off. Anybody had this problem or have suggestions.

Is it vibrating before it shuts off? I know the mp40 can be set up where it turns off if it disconnects from the magnet (disconnect calibration). Have you tried resetting it to factory?

Have you read the manual? When it cuts off like that. Something's wrong with your setup. Most likely. Did you set the spacer to the correct thickness of your glass? Try factory reset, then run it without the wetside(place dry side on a table). It should run with no problems
 
Agreed, make sure the spacer is set to the correct thickness and factory reset it as it may have been a slave not a master.
 
I can tell you the pump was set as a slave and I did not clear memory as it was running on my set up right until you picked it up. It is also set for 3/8 glass. I hope its because it's set as a slave. I don't know what it does when it's in slave mode and no "instructions". If you search how to program you will see how to clear. Please keep me posted on its status.
