I just purchased a corner das system with tons of live rock, pretty much filled to the top! I'm wondering if anybody has any experience with these tanks. I know nothing about the filtration or anything. In the first chamber there is nothing, the second chamber has a small air powered skimmer, then the third chamber has the return pump. can the first chamber be made into a refugium? I was really looking for a drilled tank so we could do the whole sump and refugium. How well do these tanks do with reefs? Unfortunately it didn't come with lighting. Any help or suggestions would be great. It also didn't have any live sand but the guy I bought it from said he never used sand in any of his tanks.
