I am having a hard time setting up my apex and skimmer, I am willing to pay someone to come help me set it up. pleases help !!!

I had a friend come and try to set it up, and now it's all messed up I need it reprogrammed and to delete all of the info that's on it.

Are you talking about just the skimmer programming? Or the entire Apex? If you have the Apex connected and working with Fusion then you could give someone else (that you trust!) access to it and they could program it from wherever they are.

If you're just wanting the skimmer outlet programmed, then I'd use something like this:
Fallback ON
Set ON
If FeedA 005 Then OFF
If Outlet (whatever your return pump outlet is named) = OFF Then OFF
Min Time 005:00 Then OFF

Also, where are you located?

Well my skimmer keeps overflowing I'm gonna try a few things to fix that, but I bought the apex used and I'm having a problem deleting all of the settings the previous owner has on it, I contacted neptunes but I'm still confused on that I need to do to clear everything and start over from the system to fusion. I'm located in uptown close to the American Airlines arena.

The only way the Apex can help you with the skimmer overflowing is to have a float switch connected to a breakout box that shuts off the skimmer when the cup/waste collector gets full.
Is it an internal skimmer? You need to find the reason it keeps overflowing, like for instance... Is it sitting too deep in water? Most skimmer manufacturers have specs on recommended depths that their product performs best in. If it's too deep, you could build a stand out of egg crate to get it to the right height.

Jay hasn't provided everyone with enough information. He reached out to me privately first, but I'm not able to help until next week. He was getting his help from Al, who is no longer with us. The skimmer is overflowing non-stop and he doesn't know why. The Apex is used, and doesn't detect any of the EB-8 outlets.

I suggested he join the club and find someone in Dallas that is close enough to stop by, but I also suggested he contact Reef Octopus for tech support and Apex for help with the Energy Bar.

Yeah I think if I am able to get the skimmer out of the sump and raise it up it might stop some of those bubbles from coming out. But the problem is that the way it was plumbed I to the sump it's almost impossible to get it out. I had my friend al basically do all of the tank but like Marc said he is no lo ger with us. I contacted reef octopus and they said its common for the skimmer to overflow at first they said for me to let it run with no cup for a week. The problem is there are so many bubbles coming out I'm scared its gonna over flow from the sump.

Regarding APEX issue, verify that all your connections are secure to and from the EB8 and try the following steps found in the APEX manual:https://www.neptunesystems.com/downloads/docs/Comprehensive_Reference_Manual.pdf

[I want to just erase everything and start over
Don’t worry; we’ve all been there at some point. If you really need to rid yourself of your current program or configuration, there’s an easy way to do it with the Apex using the Init Memory command. Before you do, make sure you make a backup of your device program and configuration using the Configuration → Save/Load function.

The initialize memory command has four choices:
1. All – initializes your configuration, your outlet programs, your profiles, probe calibrations and clears/rescans the AquaBus. Basically resets the unit to factory defaults.
2. Outlets – clears only your program statements and outlet names but leaves your configuration (i.e. network and email settings) alone.
3. AquaBus Dev – re-scans all your AquaBus devices (i.e. EB8’s) and re-registers them with the base unit (potentially re-numbering them as well). This will clear your program as well. You could use this if you had some ghost modules and wanted to clear them. Note – AquaBus Dev will delete any outlet programs and re-create default outlet names and programs.
4. Profiles – clears your pump/dimming profiles and sets them back to defaults]

If it doesn't work the first time, you might try a different aquabus cable or try connecting to a different aquabus port on both the APEX controller base unit as well as the EB8. Hope this helps and I'm sure some of this has been tried before.
