Help with a hippo

I have a hippo that just will not eat period. I got three of them about 3 weeks ago. The other two will run everyone else over getting to the food. The third one never really looked right. I am not the kind of person to give up on a fish. So I kept him even though I knew he would proably not make it. I just can not get him to eat. I feed flake, pellet, and shrimp. I hang seaweed sheets, and soak all food in garlic. I am open to suggestions. I do not want this guy to die.

I would put in more food so there is plenty for everyone. My crabs eat everything that hits the sand. I have lots of fish and a couple don't eat untill everything slows down.

When feeding my tangs, the yellow will out power the regal (hippo) so what I did was added another veggie clip to the other side of the tank. Its worked great! Any yes you can slightly overfeed to see if he is eating anything or is it just the other tangs beating him to it.

If he's not eating at all, I would remove and QT

What is his behavior like? Is he out swimming or is he hiding. Regal or shy at first then become bold one comfortable and are bold eater. Lot of fish wouldn't stop him from eating unless they are much bigger.

Here is a great link I found on the website that helps determine the cause of behavior changes. Check it out. By the way, I think you made a good decision in getting 3 blue tangs vs 2 blue tangs. Always buy in odd number.
