Number 1. are you sure it's a fireworm and not a bristle worm ?

Number 2.How big is your tank?

I looked at the pictures online after seeing it it is very big my tank is 175 gallons. I think thats what it is not sure never had this problem before

You could try a yellow coris wrasse or a arrow crab or maybe by a long shot a coral banded shrimp.

If it's big I doubt that a fish or crab would go after it (how big is it?) I had some foot long bristle worms and even though they are supposed to be harmless I didn't want that big of worm. They make a trap for them and it worked well. Maybe a member or your LFS has one. They are not as expensive as the fish traps BTW

Water bottle with panty hose and food stuffed inside. You'll need to weight down the bottle or it will float. Just google/YouTube DIY worm traps. If your close to Lewisville, I'm pretty sure I have a couple store bought worm traps you can have. GL.

that's cool, when they get through the panty hose they can't get back out?
