HELP! Coralife aqualight digital power center !! HELP!

Okay , so the instruction are about as good as nothing!! HORRIBLE!
Does anyone know any tricks to getting this thing to work
I want it to turn my actinics on one hour before my two 12ks then one hour after they shut off, then I want my moon lights to come on.
The box says this is possible...! I have no idea how though

HELP!
 
Well, needless to say I didn't hear about the horror stories till after I made the purchase.. I am going to give it till tomorrow and if it still don't work back to the store and heading to home depot for something wayyy cheaper and prolly works better!
 
Take it back to the store, politely ask for credit, and then head over to home depot. Buy 2 3-pronged timers. They should be about 15.00 bucks a piece but will last 10 times as long, and are much more reliable.
 
it looks like u cant control all 4 plugs completely seperately but have 2 on and 2 off. this would mean your moon lights and fuge light would have to be on continuously after your actinic and day bulbs are on together.

i agree with drew though, take it back and just grab some basic timers.
 
yeah thats the plan, but can someone tell me how that will work... Okay SO I buy the timers from home depot. 3 of them. Can I plug them in a power stip and still run the timer..? or will it shut off the whole power stip..when the first timer goes off?
keep in mind...I only have one outlet in the wall to use, but if i can run three separate timers on one power strip and still have room for my filter and heater plug in that would be great.
 
You probably need to find a second outlet.
Use 2 powerstrips. One will have a coulpe timers plugged into it, and the other will have 1 timer and the other stuff plugged into it.
 
two powerstrips would be easiest but you can get all 3 on one strip with ac adapter cord extenders, frys sells them for sure. your set up would be like this image. the only concern at that point is too much power draw but a good heavy duty strip from home depot should be fine with your setup.
 
Finally !!! I have got the timers right!!!
I bought 3 GE timers from Homedepot $10 a piece. One for my actinicts, one for my 24k , one for my lunar.
I found the extenders at Walmart for only $1.89!! X3
Returned the Coralife fire hazard back to petco!
The timers where very easy to set took 5 mins.
Everything is coming on like it's suppose and couldn't be happier

I have a coralife fire hazard on my nano. Been on it for two year now and no fire yet. But you guys are right I do not trust it to run my 120g. No way I trust it to run MH.
But back to the main point. I know it's to late and you took it back but you can run all 4 things with that timer. Mine runs my blue lights ,white light ,moon light , and fug light. You just have to have them pluged into the right spots.
 
Oh no, it ran all my lighting but I didn't want a continuous light cycle running 24 hours a day.
The only problem I had with it was only being able to program the Day lights , I wanted each light to have it's own specific on and off time, but with this power center it just wasn't possible..!
