I'm currently running a 36" outer orbit fixture with 2x 150w HQI (reeflux 12k) and 4x 39w T5 (ATI Blue+) bulbs. I bought it used a couple years ago and it has served me well. After replacing the ballasts once and the fans multiple times it's time to get something new for the tank rather than sinking more money into an older fixture.
The tank is a DSA neo 65 (36x20x21). SPS dominant with a few LPS scattered along the bottom.
I like this fixture but they don't make it anymore and I can't find any other fixtures that are 36" and have the two HQI bulbs, only 1 in the center and I worry about the coverage. I've looked at pendants but don't know how I would handle actinic supplementation.
Any recommendations are appreciated. Way too many options out there.
