My email today indicated that Marineland wants me to ship the tank back to them for repair. I'm going to need 8 to 10 people to do this, to get it out of the house and onto a big pallet. That's it. It's 1100 pounds.
I'm going to get some pink foam to see if I can turn the tank on its side and roll it out the front door. The tank is 7' 6" long and (on its side) 30" wide. If that works, the job is to get it of the stand onto the living room carpet, then roll it over onto furniture movers. Strap these to the tank, and roll it out the front door.
If this isn't possible (I'll know after I've tested the front door idea with the foam sheeting), we have to roll it out the back patio door, and then roll it through the backyard and out the gate around to the front. It would require putting boards on the ground and then moving them Egyptian-style.
If you have the muscle and desire to assist, please reply below.
