Hello fellow reefers, I'm new to this site. I've surf this site many times but just haven't posted until now. Been waiting to have a address in the area. So, I'm happy to say that I have bought a house in bedford and will be moving into the area June 16. I'm in the process of trying to figure the moving of my tank. I'm going to have to sell most of my live stock because I just don't think they could survive the 8hour trip plus reassembling the tank.

Information about My tank:
210 Oceanic BB
58 gal Oceanic sump
ASM skimmer
Seio 1500, 1100
Tunze 6080 & 6060
Close Loop-Dolphin 3000
40 watt U.V.
29 gal fuge
little giant 4 return.
1/3 hp chiller
2 160watt VHO
2 250MH 1 400MH switching to 4 250MH
Looking to add the Oceans Motion after move.

I've kept SPS and LPS and some softies
Tank was wiped out after Katrina and had to start over, don't have much now but haven't bought anything in 4 months because I was moving. So I can't waite to get this bad boy back up in Texas and begin restocking.

So hope to see ya soon.

Sounds like a nice setup, looks like your probley keeping SPS? We have a frag swap coming up in june.

Good luck with the move.

Hey Carl,
I'll be right next door to you in Euless.
Let me know when you're all set up here and I'll donate some
frags for your new/old tank. Or send me a PM if you need help
setting things up.

Welcome to the area. :D

I recommend you get suction cups to help move your tank. I would also get some flat dollies. Once you arrived in town, you may want to higher some guys off the street to help you move everything in. I think they run about $50.00 each a day. It might be well worth it for you if you have a lot to move in to your new home.

Thanks for the suggestions, We having someone move us so I shouldn't have too much to move in myself. I will have to move the tank itself myself. I have a flat dolly that I built when I bought the tank. I'll use it to move it into the house. I'll just have to get it out of the truck and onto the dolly, then onto the stand.
