Hello from an old fw keeper recent convert

Hello all great forum here have read alot of great stuff. Sorry if this is the wrong area couldn't find anything. I usually stay pretty quiet but wanted to share my first tank and ask where you get Copepods and macro algaes locally? Been struggling with both. Recently moved and sold my 100 and 65 gallon cichlid tanks but wanted to always try salt. So here is my first tank 3 months in.20 gallon tall. Keeping it simple and have been having a blast and seeing tons of growth already. Addicted. alt="">

Copepods locally is pretty easy to get. They usually hitch hike on macro algae such as chaeto, or inside live rock. So grab some chaeto or rock from a fellow member, post up on the buy/sell and it'll come with pods.

Thank you for the heads up I will have to ask thank you! Was hoping on a more dense source of pods but will probably just need to change out my cheato occasionally. Have a rescued red dragonnet I'm tring to keep well fed till I inherit a new 50 gall

Oh sorry, I misunderstood. You needed to use them to feed.... like immediately... i would post on the buy/sell that you're looking for some.

got a bunch of fresh pods and a [(***Mod Edit per UA) ] coral to go with it. plus meeting good people never hurts. thanks for the tip ThanhNguyen!

I don't know which way you are but Dallas north aquarium on trinity mills sells em you have to ask behind the counter, and Arlington true percula sells the tiggers they are terrible for breeding but great for one time use. I work at petco too and we periodically order tisbe's so you may ask your petco to do an Ora order for you
