hatching Mexican Cerith Snail eggs - remove the skimmer?

I got some mexican cerith snails from the beach in Florida last year, and to my surprise they survived the trip home.

They've been in my reef for about 6 month now, and last night I saw one laying eggs on the glass.

How long until they hatch? I've heard 4 days, and I've heard 30 days...

Also, after (if) they hatch should I disable the skimmer for a few days to keep from being skimmed them out of the water?
 
i wouldnt worry about the skimmer and the ones on the glass, id take a couple, put them in your refugium and let them be there. in a fuge they will multiply like crazy without you doing anything
