Hammer Coral toxin

I just purchased a 2 head hammer coral.  After dipping I noticed some streamers coming off of it as I was gluing it to a rock. At first I thought it was the superglue even though it seemed to be coming from the head.  Now I believe it was toxin because shortly after I noticed over 100 zoa polyps had closed up and it's taken them about 5 hours to start opening back up.I'm glad I always wear gloves when I dip.  I was using Coral Rx and iodine.  The hammer is fine, btw.Mark
 
Carbon will absorb those toxins. I don't keep it in the tank all the time, but I do stick a bag in the sump anytime I add/remove/modify corals.The zoas might still close up, but not as long.
