Something in my tank, about an hour ago. decided to frag my blue tort (which is really just a big frag itself!)...do fish really do that? I have a couple of larger fish (rabbit and a mono), but didn't think swam so close.

Anyway, now I have a tiny frag that will hopefully grow out, and all looks to be well with the main "frag".

Any Clowns?

My big female Clarkii would bite off frags "for" me from time to time, I think just to spite me...

Yep - didn't even consider them. Two of "Andy's Clowns". Geesh, don't even tell me! Pretty soon it will be "blue tort frags for everyone"! I hope the teeny frag makes it...

My fish routinely prune my corals. Another reason not to have any fish if you want beautiful SPS corals.

Bekah & I were sitting admiring the tank and talking over a glass of wine a couple of weeks ago. Sailfin (our sailfin tang  ) was in freak out mode and was entertaining to watch as he was postering himself against his reflection. Well he swam up to the birdsnest frag and SWIPE with the barb and snap went a 1" branch off the frag!

No more illegal fragging so far. And the tiny frag is doing well - just about 1/2" tall. The main coral has healed and is still growing. Now I'm just all freaked out about it losing color, after the Next Wave talk. So far, it's BLUE, very blue, and I've had it for two months.
