green hair algae

Kay · Nov 2, 2005

Thanks everybody for your help with my questions. I have some green hair algae that I've never had before. A lfs said Kent Marine clean equation would help with the algae. What is Marc's thread for getting rid of green hair algae? Will the Kent Marine Clean Equation hurt my tank?

IMO, it's always better to go "natural", rather an additive. Some fish eat this - my Foxface loves it! - and some cleaning critters do also.

HTH!
