Good or bad Brittle stars

I'm moving livestock over to a new tank setup and came across these little fellas and can't seem to identify them enough to know if they are good or bad. I found a reference to some being called the green death and others that say they are excellent scavengers. They appear to be a brownish, blackish or gray and about 3" tip to tip.

They are good. I have noticed that since my population of these increased the population of bristle worms decreased. Not sure exactly why. They may out-compete the bristle worms for food or may consume bristle worm larvae.

+1 they are nocturnal for the most part, peaceful and do a good job of getting rid of detritus in those hard to reach places.
