good fish in tank randomly dying???????

in 4 days 2 of my good fish just died they had no marks or illnesses 1 (foxface)had for 5 months and did great 2nd ( powder brown tang) had for 1 month and also did great both were kinda big though still have 6 fish what should i do [smilie=worried.gif] WHAT IS KILLING THEM?
 
Check ammonia, nitrates, nitrites. Tap water that has been RO/DI filtered can still sometimes have ammonia, and even other bad stuff. Add Prime to your tank per the directions to lock up the ammonia, nitrates, heavy metals, chlorine.

Fish die of all sorts of reasons, including old age. Feed them high nutrition food. Some have said that hungry fish are healthy fish, so maybe don't over feed them.

Large fish normally are said to require a large tank.

Sorry for your losses! For established fish, unfortunately it could be a number of things. David just listed a bunch of them. I would focus on something that may have happened recently - did you move a bunch of rock or disturb the sand bed, perhaps? It could also just be old age, and it was just a funky coincidence that you've had two die within a week.

I just recently lost my Lawnmower Blenny, a fish I've had for 3.5 years. Everything's been the same in the tank, so I figured it was just time.
 
How big is your tank? How often you do water changes? You make your own salt water or buy it? If make your own are you using tap water or ro/di unit
