Going to Houston! Where are some nice aquariums?

Who knows of some places to go see some nice Aquariums in Houston. I am planning to go to the downtown aquarium. Any nice rest. or fish stores someone would recommend? I will be staying on the west side of Houston off Sam Houston Parkway south.
Thanks,
Bill

Drive out to Galveston Island (30 miles or so from downtown Houston) and check out the Moody Gardens Aquarium... It's worth the drive, IMHO!

Some pics I took down there a few years back:

Gotta love a walk-through shark tank:

Deepwater exhibit with a 10"+ Isopod:

You spiral around this tank, going form the lagoonal surface, down through the layers... Very cool!

I was trying to think of anything and to be honest I totally agree with Serk. Either take the time to spend a few hours and trek to Moody Gardens (which has really awesome plant life also) or forget it. Realy nothing to cool. There is a restraunt downtown with tanks but it's way overated.

We have several sponsor stores that are great to check out. I am not sure how mcuh time you have but I would recommend checking out TNT Fish and Pets and Village Tropical at the very least. You can check out our map on our site if you want more listings.
