Glueing rubble rock together

Well i picked up a few lbs. or pukani live rock rubble, i washed it, scrubbed it, and finally baked it in the oven to dry it out completely. I then tried to super glue it together....with no luck! I've glued live rock together with superglue before, i guess that pukani rock it more porous??? I was going to try using gel super glue, or coralfix glue, i just didnt want that dried white glue ooze that you usually get with coralfix glue. for the larger center piece, i was going to use aquamend. I was going with a lagoon aquascaping in a nano aquapod 12, so the pillars are going to be small and brittle looking. thanks all.

What is grey tank epoxy?? I was going to give gorilla glue a shot, i went over the "reef safeness" with several people over there, and they claim that its 100% reef safe after it dries. Shortly after i did some research, i found out that alot of people use gorilla glue to glue returns and other things together, then place them in water without adverse effects. I was just looking for a few other things to try first hand.

Aquamend from Home Depot (it's in the same place as the glue), $3.97 for a 2oz tube. Only draw back for me is it's white so it stands out in the tank.

I second what Wes said, the grey epoxy works best for me, make sure its that brand, cures within minutes and blends in with the rock.

I tried that two little fishies stuff, and i was very dissapointed with it!! Later i went ahead and tried some of the aquamend from homedepot, that stuff works great!! I am going to give that a try this weekend too, i was just looking for something that i could use to mock up the live rock to see if im going to like the way its going to look. with 12 gallons you dont have alot of room to make mistakes.

3rd for aquamend. Used it for about four years now to mount all corals and stuff. It is super white at first then coraline grows over it. Also your skimmer will go ape sheet for a day or two after you use it.

my skimmer never goes crazy when i use the stuff. Maybe its the drop in the pond concept. I never use much of it and in such a big amount of water I never notice much. It seams to only slightly affect my skimmer. But I usually only use a small pinch.
