Glue / solvent/cement

ok i am looking for the glue for polycarbonate. i have read post that talk about different post and i had some Yrs ago from Craftics.. but looking for some locally... preferably in Ft. Worth area... or not Dallas... live in Bridgeport.

tried looking for that Weld-on also.. ace lowes home depot etc... no such luck...

on vacation this week and want to build new sump / refugium...got lots of plastic from customer 1/4 polycarb (lexan)

Bridgeport? I was just there today! I had to do a job there.

Weld-on should work fine with Lexan. Do you have anyone in that area selling plastics? If you do, they should have the solvent to join them. If you have to go to Ft Worth, Regal Plastics sells Weldon #3, #4, and #16. #4 is what I use, with a needletip applicator. They have that as well.

Here's what I use: http://www.melevsreef.com/tools.html

And here is their address and phone number (scroll down to E on this page): http://www.dfwmas.org/lfs.html

hey i've been using a cyano acrylate for a long time for use with models and stuff do you think that would work? i mean its 10 to 14 bucks for a bottle of zap a gap but it would save haveing leftover glue if it'll work
thanks
Eric

That is the chemical recipe of Super Glue Gel. Yes, cyano acrylate is fine.
