Glass overflows

[Does anyone have their internal overflows made out of glass instead of acrylic. I'm wondering how they perform.]

[No one have opinions? I ask because some tank vendors offer them. I'm just not sure what they are all about. They can't have 'teeth' up top can they?]

[I've seen them made out of glass on some of the super tanks on Reef Central. I didn't see any teeth, but you could put some eggcrate in them to keep livestock out.

One of the Sump articles (#3 actually) has specific comments against the use of teeth because they tend to lure the fish near them as food gets caught there and acts like bait.]
