Getting ready to add first fishes...

OK. I still have not added my first fish yet. I have the quarantine tank up and ready and should have the main tank up and running this weekend too. The 55 has been up and stable for a couple months now with plenty of live rock, a few herits, a few snails and a couple shrimps. I have also added three zoa colonies (10-12 head frags), a zenia colony and some kenya trees that were a freeby. The plan is to move the contents of the 55 to the 115 and let it settle in for the 6-8 weeks that I take to get the first fish and quartine them.

The plan is to make my first additions a couple of sand sifting goby or blennie species. Would appreciate any recommendation on a nice looking species that will not be too hard to find. Preferably one that is captive bread and not wild caught. Also one that won't mind if I have two or even three in the 115 gallon tank.

The next fish after that I hope to add is some clown fish. I have a major question here. I love the maroon clowns, but also the Ocellaris Clowns. Is it even possible to have both?

Beyond these, I am looking to eventually add 4 to 5 other colorful fish, but have no set ideas yet.

Would really love some thoughts and suggestions here.

Thanks in advance!

Clown fish are hardy...I accidently, dont ask, had my pair end up in toilet water for 3hrs...Note. Fresh water....They are clowns...They looked at me like i was nuts, but...They are good to go still....Clowns are very hardy. You can put them in at any time ..Just my two cents.

Sand-sifting gobies will bury corals on or near the substrate, so your zoas may suffer if you don't stay alert.

The clowns will probably fight for territory as Matt pointed out. I would pick a pair and skip the other.
