Getting back into the hobby

Hi everyone it’s been awhile since I’ve been on the forum. Please let me know if this is not the correct place to post this.

I’m looking to get back into the hobby and already have my tank, starting small again with a fluval Evo 13.5 gallon but looking for some equipment and basics to get things moving again. I am looking for the following items.

5 gallon jugs x 4-5
Live rock
Power heads - use to have some MP-10s but don’t know if there is something better.
RODI unit

Really need to get some jugs first to get some water and Amazon jugs have gotten expensive. I’m in the Arlington area and was looking for LFS recommendations I can buy water and salt from until I get my RODI setup

Thanks for the help!

Welcome back to the hobby! Starting again with a Fluval Evo 13.5 is a smart choice since it's a manageable system while you get back into the reefing routine. For water storage, you might also check local food-grade container suppliers or ask fellow hobbyists, as used 5-gallon jugs often come up for sale at reasonable prices. For equipment, there are several excellent wavemaker options available today besides the MP10, so it's worth comparing features before buying. I'd also recommend keeping an eye on the forum's marketplace, you can often find quality live rock, RODI units, and other gear from experienced reef keepers at great prices. Best of luck with your new build, and enjoy getting back into the hobby!😊
