GEO 612 sump question.

Hello all, i purchased a geo 612 and i was wondering if it can be submerged in sump? i know the pump is water proof but is there anything gravity wise that would keep the reactor from working properly? this is probably a dumb question but i wanted to know if there is any pro or cons in doing so
 
You can keep the ca rx in the sump. It will warm up the water which is good for the winter during the summer you can build a stand if you have the height and rise the ca rx above the water line

Only pro and neg is that if the ca rx leaks it will go in the sump instead of the floor but you might not notice it since it's in the sump
