Ok it's been running for a couple of month's now . This Glasscages 120G starphire on 3 sides was picked up with Donnies' huge 580-590.

I ordered the rimless version so I could have the overflow box centered in the rear, not offset and without Euro bracing around the rim. This makes my aqua scape easier to work on and the light has no shading, I am quite pleased with my GC tank, it's not perfect but for the price it can't be beat. And if you want neater silicone jobs get the black silicone as mine is, I didn't pay for nor order it but was not going to reject it for it

The stand is from John in Rhome TX, made of solid red oak except the tank shelf and sump bottom which are pine.

Really like my original version Reef Devil

Adam , I really like mine also wish I had went with the black silicone but no big deal. I like your aquascape the caves at the bottom give it a better look I think.

I need to figure out my ATO.

I have most all sitting on a egg crate shelf , it's main support is 1/2" pvc frame around the over flow and the two front corner Tufa rocks which have notches cut out to support the egg crate. This give a big free area for flow over my DSB.

I love how fast Tufa takes on coraline and life and looks so natural so fast.

My sump is a 20L and the ATO tank is a 5gal that sits in front of it. I thought of going larger on the sump but it holds all the water in a power failure with about an inch to spare and I like the room to work under the tank.

I love the black silicone... it really makes the tank stand out! How many lbs of rock are you using? said:
Funny how the mistake of black silicone was a good one.

Not sure on the LR, some is near 10 yrs old from a tank long gone and aded some here and there as my tanks grew. I'd guess 100-150 pounds.

Looks great, concidering it has not been much since you got it. What equipment do you have, i.e. sump type, skimmer, other hardware?

Original ETS reef devil in a homemade 20L sump I made with a good size refugium.

Quiet One 4000 return pump.

2 Koralia #3's driven by a Seio wavemaker.

ATO top off with a 5g tank.

Most of the corals and rock where moved over from my overcrowded 75G. I used about 20-40 pounds of the old sand and had no cycle. I used about 150 pounds of crushed limestone and 120 of southdown play sand.

Good job and it looks like you have put a lot of thought into your tank. I would also say the black silicone really looks good. Show us a picture after you get the wiring cleaned up.
