Gatorade phosban reactor

I just made a phosban reactor using instructions from a guy at NanoReef.com in the DIY section. I'm only running carbon in it for now until I can get some phosban. Very easy and cheap if you need one.

Looks like here's the original thread, with a few pics:

Wow , sorry I don't have pics, I did this for a friend's tank. I don't have my own but I help him take care of his. He is an older gentleman with some health issues and really loves having an aquarium. Next time I'm there with a camera I'll post some. However, the link posted by Serk has great pics.

Could someone please telll me how to link an address like Serk did. I'm sure its obvious but not to me.
Thanks

I think I'm going to try this. I need to run some carbon and phosban anyway but I'm to cheap to buy two new reactors and noone on this board ever sales theirs. OR I can't get first dibs on it!

Do ya'll think the next size up from the one they use be too big? i only have a little ol' 120.

I'm thinking that the bigger size would be better about not letting media out.

Can you mix phosphate media with carbon ? becasue my phosphate media takes up less that a 1/4 of the chamber and I would like some better water clarity.

No, this isn't a good idea. Carbon is only good for a few days, while phosphate removers (iron-based) are good for 4 to 8 weeks.
