Garf bonsai turning brown. Help!!!

I got a garf bonsai that is starting to turn brown underneath and moving up one side. Does anybody have any idea why? My parameter are good. It has good amount of flow hitting it. I bought it from a guy that was using metal halide two weeks ago. I have a radion gen2 led that is acclimating mode and is currently at about 35-40 %.

On my old system, when I kept sps, they all kept turning brown. I could not understand why. Well I then thought it was excess nutrients so I performed more frequent water changes. Once a week instead of once every two weeks. My sps colored up in no time

Give it more blue lights on it. I have never lost a coral to leds no acclimation just place it right in the tank and it does fine.

Sent from inside the shark tank!

I run mine at 100% sps placed from 3" deep to about 24" deep and zoas on glass bottom as i have no sand.

I had the same thing happen, I would move it up, run your Radions like normal. I bought an ORA red planet, which turned brown, then Green on me. like a neon green when the actinics are on. I thought it was dead, was about to toss it out, then I switched out lights and it slowly acclimated to my tank. Now the new growth is red, but the rest is still green, but slowly very slowing getting it's color. This was due to insufficient light. You gotta understand it came from metal halides which is full spectrum, to LED's. Sps tend not to acclimate as fast coming from Halides. Oh, and a big no no on the direct flow. You'll kill it. sps like indirect flow. I have two powerheads synced on the back of my tank pointed forward towards the glass. There's no corals in it's direct path except for a birdsnest and where the flow is direct, that part of the birdsnest is dead. btw I run my radions at the preset 18k color spectrum using ecosmart live. sps colors up Very nicely under that spectrum.
