Marc, your corals are beautiful!!! The colors so intense and they look so very healthy.

I would love to know your secret to exactly how you take care of your tank.... You lucky man you...Well I really don't know if it would be luck or not, maybe just a right balance of knowledge and knowing just what to do when... :)

My full tank shots rarely look any good, but I'll see about adding one in the next day or so.

These are from the front or side of the tank. In case you are wondering, it is a Fuji S602Z digital camera.

Now that Tucker is gone, the Mean Greens are beginning to look 3-d again.

Just a bump for those that didn't know more images were added. :)

Naw, they're there to eat the AEFW, right?

I'm not very knowledgeable about photography, but I notice like you said that the pics come out much more colorful from the top. Is this because of the glass? Those are some of the better SPS pics I have seen. Good job.

jbailey - I think it's actually the angle... I know corals are more colorful even to my eye when viewed from above...

I guess it makes sense, the zoxanthalae algae in the coral tissue that give them their vibrant colors are gonna be concentrated greatest at an angle to get the most light, which is straight up mostly...

(That's just what I assume, I could very well be horribly wrong... :) )

With the light shining down on the corals, when you view them from above you see their luminesence best. Everything looks amazing from above, and really we are missing out by looking through the side of our tanks. The glass does filter out some color, especially normal glass that appears to have a green tint to it. My tank has Starfire glass, which is low lead and not green.
