Fragging Zoas

Ok, so I got a small frag of zoas that I would really like to keep...
the only problem is that the rock they are mounted on has some bubble algae on it.
My nano does not have any bubble algae growing anywhere (knock on wood)...
So I placed the frag in the tank noticed the algae, and yanked it out.

Originally, I was going to try to scrape the algae off the rock (I started to), then I thought to be on the safe side, it would be better to probably frag the small colony and then glue them onto a new rock before placing them back in that tank.
To do this, can I just use a razor blade, or is there a better way?

title changed

You can just scrape the bubble algae off, then rinse in a small bowl of tank water that you throw away.

If you want to frag them anyway, a sharp razor blade will work- you want to pry up the mat that the zoas are on (or even better, if it's growing on coraline, try to scrape that up, leaving the mat untouched.)

Sorry about the title (very little sleep), thanks...

Yeah, just to be on the safe side, I'll probably try to get under the mat you are referring to.
hmmm... I wonder if the blade will cut through the coralline...!?
